These terms cover this website and the Kotiful early-access waitlist. They do not cover the Kotiful app, which is not released — it will have its own terms when it launches. By joining the waitlist you agree to what is on this page. Effective 2026-08-19.

What this site is

It is a waitlist for an app that has not launched. Joining reserves a place in line and nothing more. We are not selling you anything here, you are not paying anything, and no account or service is being provided yet.

Everything shown on the landing page about how the app will work is an illustration of a product still in development. The phone screen and the personalization demo are labelled as pre-launch concepts because that is what they are. We have not promised a launch date, a price, a feature list, or that any particular feature will ship.

Joining the waitlist

You need a working email address
You must confirm it by clicking the link we send. Until you do, you are not on the list.
Use your own address
Do not sign up with an address that is not yours, and do not sign up repeatedly to move up the queue.
You can leave at any time
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. You do not need to give a reason and you do not need to contact us.
Promotional email is optional
The marketing checkbox is separate and off by default. Leaving it unticked does not affect your place in line.

The referral programme

When you confirm your email you get a personal invite link. A referral counts when someone joins through your link and confirms their own email address. Referrals that do not confirm do not count.

The reward tiers on offer are the three shown on the waitlist page:

10 confirmed referrals
2 months of Kotiful Premium.
25 confirmed referrals
6 months of Premium, plus Founder Badge.
50 confirmed referrals
1 year of Premium, plus Founder Badge and first access to beta builds.
Rewards are applied at launch, not now
The app is not released, so there is nothing to apply a subscription to yet. We record what you have earned against your waitlist entry and apply it when Kotiful opens. If we never launch, nothing is owed and nothing has been charged.
Only confirmed, fraud-clean referrals count
A referral that is held for review, invalidated, or never confirms its own email address does not count toward a tier.
Rewards can change before launch
Only the rewards actually shown on the site are on offer. Tiers that are not displayed have not been approved and are not promised. We may change or withdraw a reward before launch, and if we do we will say so on this page and by email.
Rewards have no cash value
They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, or sold.
We can reject fraudulent referrals
Self-referral, disposable or throwaway addresses, automated signups, and bursts of signups from one place are detected and do not earn credit. Where credit was already given, we can revoke it.
We can remove an account that abuses the system
If a place in line was obtained by fraud, we can remove it. If you think that happened to you in error, write to us and we will look at it.
Disqualification
Deliberately gaming the referral programme — bulk or automated signups, buying traffic to your link, using disposable addresses, or coordinating rings of accounts — disqualifies you from rewards, and we may remove the entry entirely. We will tell you if that happens and you can ask us to review it.

What Kotiful does and does not do

Kotiful reads a product label and explains the ingredient list. It is informational only. It is not medical, dermatological or pharmaceutical advice, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it does not tell you a product is safe. Recognition depends on the product and its label, and a skin-fit read requires a verified ingredient list. Always read the packaging yourself and speak to a qualified professional about a medical concern.

Independence from retailers and brands

Kotiful is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Olive Young, Beauty of Joseon, or any other retailer or brand whose products may be scanned, shown or named. Product names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the goods being described.

Intellectual property

The design, layout, text, logos, imagery and code of this site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may link to the site and share your own referral link freely. You may not copy, republish or adapt the site or its content for other purposes without our written permission. Third-party trade marks referred to on the site remain the property of their respective owners.

Using the site fairly

Please do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with this site or the systems behind it, and do not use it to send anyone unsolicited messages. The design, text, logos and images on this site belong to us and are not licensed for reuse without permission.

Availability

This is a pre-launch site. We may change it, take parts of it down, or pause signups at any time, without notice. We do not guarantee that it will be available uninterrupted or error-free.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page. If a change materially affects people already on the list, we will email about it rather than quietly editing this page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Republic of Korea. Nothing here removes a consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
